Jacob Townsend is the host of The Morning Monster every weekday morning on 640 WXSM The Sports Monster. He also broadcasts Daniel Boone and David Crockett football and basketball on our sister station, AM 910 WJCW. Jacob is a graduate of ETSU and has worked with Cumulus Tri-Cities since 2019 in a variety of roles with WXSM and WJCW, along with the news department. He has also broadcasted numerous high school football, basketball, baseball, and softball games in his home area of Southwest Virginia and had a three-year stint as a broadcaster for UVA Wise.
